While Dabbling at Work...
I stumbled upon this.
I'd never heard it before.
I like it, despite the weird finger snapping.
P.S. I really like the word 'dabble'.

Something to Ponder
I have thought and thought about something to blog about and all I came up with was this question:
Why do all BYU co-eds look the same?
Anyone have an answer?
I just wondered.
I could go into detail about how I have two papers due tomorrow and have not started on either of them, but then you really don't need to know the depths of my procratination.

A Bit Flushed
I ran into one of my Zeta sisters last night. It was so fun to see her, especially since I haven't seen her since before my mission. It's been a long time.
However, seeing her made me wonder: Why is it that whenever I happen to run into someone I haven't seen for a while it is always in the bathroom?

S-M-R-T
In case you've missed it, let me reiterate the fact that I'm pretty much amazing.
I got 91% on my first psychometrics test.
And a smiley face with a bow tie.
Yep, I am that good.
Now, if only I could do that well on all my tests...
And yes, I meant to spell Smart incorrectly.

Secret Stalker
How can I secretly stalk someone's blog if
they are determined to make it private?
Especially when it is someone I've never met?
And whose now-husband I had a crush on in high school?
What a dilemma!

No Kidding
I hear that comedian Ellen DeGeneres is to take Paula Abdul's spot as a judge on American Idol.
I was already thinking that it would be a better season with Paula gone, but now, it's going to be the best season yet!
That Ellen's just so darn funny.

Ho-Hum
Today is a rather auspicious day. 09-09-09. In Chinese, 九, nine, is homophonous to 久, longevity. Considering the nines are tripled, this should be a good day, a very good day; even a lucky or fortuitious day.
However, so far, my day has been boring. BORING. Absolutely and completely mind-numbingly dull. All I've done is sit--on the train, at my desk, in class. Nothing exciting has happened. Nothing good has happened. And nothing lucky has happened. Up to this point, the highlight of my day has been the cookie I got after institute. Sad.
How can I make this most auspicious day more...auspicious?

Productive? ...Maybe
Yesterday while at work, I:
Call it productivity. Call it desperation. Call it procrastination. I don't care. I was on FIRE!!
- Finished my study guides
- Studied for my quiz
- Watched an hour long film for class, and
- Wrote a 4-page paper

Jinx
Being in a good mood, I started singing the Monkee's 'Daydream Believer' while in the shower this morning.
I then proceded to cut myself, not once but twice while shaving my legs.
I should have known better than to sing the words, "The shaving razor's cold and it stings" while weilding a knife.

My Literary Vacation in Poetic Form, Year 2
This recent summer past to Cedar we to see
A play of Shakespeare, a musical, and a comedy.
That Shakespeare, a playwright and sonnet poet too
The Comedy of Errors did write for our review.
Antipholus and Dromio, each a twin without the know,
Are muddled and confused throughout the entire show.
Antipholus of Syracuse in Ephesus to find
His brother at sea long-lost, one of his own kind.
Dromio appears, (is really the other brother's slave)
Has not that gold which he his master gave.
Disorder and identity mistook were certain to ensue;
Laughter and pleasure from the audience did drew.
At curtain close each twin was found and together united,
Brothers and parentage revealed; all visages delighted.
In The Secret Garden, Mary young orphan child
From India to England sailed to live on moor wild.
Sad Uncle Archie, haunted by ghosts and love of past.
Colin is so very ill; they fear he will not last.
Mary finds the key that to Aunt Lily's garden fair
Will open doors, tear down walls, allow all hearts repair.
With the help of Dickon flowers soon begin to bloom,
Life and love will scatter doubt and fear and gloom.
Magic touches all, despair and illness flee--
Hope and happiness renew as Archie comes to see
The garden of his Lily dear in painted color bright
Is not dead, but lives and grows. All is set to right.
Of Private Lives, one couple five years ago did part
Find they still each other love in their inner heart.
Elyot and new wife Sybil, first night of unioned bliss,
On balcony along the shores of France share a wedded kiss.
Victor and Amanda at neighboring veranda do reside
Spend their honeymoon; that day she too played bride.
Elyot and Amanda, married and divorced that time ago
Once met again still love the other despite their many rows.
Both like to tease and argue, each their tempers tend to flare
Yet decide to leave the new spouses and continue their affair.
To Paris they do flee, their brawls and fights do raise a laugh.
But in their love continue, remaining the other's better half.
All in all, the plays were fun, though Shakespeare took the cake,
I thoroughly enjoyed them all--Can't wait for next year's take.

Choices
I'm guessing that if you are a regular reader of my blog, you should know by now that I am on ldssingles.com. I've been on for only a month and so far not much has happened. But I have realized: if I play it right and learn to use the search tools, I can hand pick my very own customized, made-to-order man from the thousands without ever leaving my computer screen.
Age: I've seen them anywhere from 18-75. Do I want to rob the cradle or find me a sugar daddy?
Height: Comes down to whether I want to wear heels or flats.
Body Type: Teddy bear or bean pole?
Mission: Definitely. But which would I rather visit? Italy? France? Arizona?
Education: Will I have to support him on my meager salary until he can graduate? Or is he man enough to be done with school and support me?
Previous Marital Status: ...Baggage?
Photo and Genetic Information: Really, it depends on what I want my future children to look like...and if I think he's hot. I'm not too picky.
Greeting: Does he seem like a nice, normal, ambitious guy? Or is he comparing himself with a car?
And the list goes on. There are just so many choices. How do I ever decide?
