My Chinese is suffering, and is getting worse as the days go by. I find that I am forgetting words, struggling with correct syntax, and only catch a phrase or two if I am listening in on others' conversation. I am sad that the language is slipping and that I don't have more opportunity or time to study and practice. Last night I was even admonished to "learn my mission language properly". So, I decided to work on it. I brought flashcards to work, loaded up MDBG (because it's the best translator around) and a bopomofo website (so I could translate my flashcards), and set to work.
And what awesome Chinese have I learned today?
打哈欠--to yawn, and 愛麗絲漫遊奇境記--Alice in Wonderland.
Yep, my Chinese skills ROCK!

Nide cesuo zai nali is still a pretty important phrase. If I didn't know it, we would have had a bad time in Taoyuan. Anyway, good luck on your Chinese. Mine is going down the toilet as well.
