A Quick Update

Hey guys.  Long time, no write. Sorry about that.  I've been a little busy.  I mean, I did GET MARRIED, and I did MOVE TO CANADA, so I haven't had much time to blog.  But here I am now, if it is only for a minute.

The wedding was awesome!  I haven't seen many pictures yet, but here's a teaser:

The whole thing just went so well.  I couldn't have asked for a better day.  More details and pictures to come!

After spending two nights in Salt Lake and one night in Bellingham, WA, we crossed the border, picked up the UHaul, packed up Keith's stuff, and started driving.

Glacier National Park.  See the glacier?

See that tiny UHaul in the background?  That's Keith.  See the big orange monstrosity in front?  That's me.  There is nothing more lame than having to drive 16 hours to a new city with your new husband in separate cars.

But we made it!  We got to Edmonton around 9:00pm on Tuesday.  Luckily Keith's brother organized reinforcements and it only took 30 minutes to unload the truck.  And then we collapsed into bed (two twin mattresses borrowed from the upstairs neighbor).

Our apartment is just a few blocks away from the University of Alberta, so there is a big college vibe here.  But, it's a good thing because the grocery store is two short blocks away, there are a ton of places to eat  one street over, and the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet and quaint.

This afternoon we are headed 6 hours south to brother Caleb's wedding.  At least Keith and I get to be in the same car this time. :)

Yay! I'm glad you made it there! Too bad you had to drive different cars:( BTW I LOVED your dress, you looked beautiful! Can't wait to hear more about where you are living and to see pictures.

It sounds like an adventure!

If we possibly can, we'll be up to visit as well. Enjoy the heck out of married life. It's great!
